• Ideal as a display in the classroom.
• Can be used as a 5 minute game or longer. Useful before an art lesson for example.

1. Leave the counters on the board and ask the class to read the equations together.
2. Ask six children, to add two colours together to make the third colour.
3. Whole class reads the equations together.

• Once the children know the colours, remove all counters and let them guide you along the caterpillar, saying each colour as you move from head to toe and back
